Microsoft Power BI adalah software intelligence bisnis besutan Microsoft yang memungkinkan Anda untuk mengolah data lebih detail dan menampilkannya dengan grafis yang lebih interaktif. Microsoft Power BI dapat memvisualisasikan data yang telah Anda masukkan atau data yang sudah terkoneksi oleh sistem ketiga dan juga dapat mengontrol dan memantau data dengan mudah.

Microsoft Power BI mengusung 3 konsep kerja dalam menganalisa data seperti Dashboard, Report, dan Datasets. Datasets merupakan kumpulan data yang diimport atau dikoneksikan pada Power BI. Sedangkan Report adalah satu atau lebih dari halaman visualisasi. Repot bisa berupa chart atau grafik, dan Dashboard sendiri adalah tampilan integrasi yang menampilkan sekumpulan report dari sekumpulan dataset. Dashboard memberikan informasi data, analisa, serta memberikan gambaran dalam bentuk single visualisasi dashboard.
